It is impossible to underestimate the effect this has on the human soul, which are historically programmed to get along with other humans. Learning to hate the glass walls of the aquarium, the jumping gerbil escapes.
it seems to begin with "you need to conserve resources and lessen your carbon footprint" and end with "you know what, just remove yourself all together and make way for machines."

You touched upon a subject I had long found both intriguing and disturbing: The Georgia Guidestones. What a fascinating day, July 7, 2022, when “someone” (no one has ever been charged) set about its destruction…after the monument to world depopulation had been standing there for 42 years - since erected March 22, 1980.

that's a very interesting and well-written article. Scary that a guide to an "age of reason" would require roughly 95% of our current world population to disappear!
The last time the world population was around 500 million was 1650 A.D.
And then the Black Plague lowered it by a million.
The only way the global elites could survive (after their plan of complete control with their serfs living in smart cities) would be AI.
I wonder how long it would take AI to become the “elites” masters?! It’s an inevitable dystopian future no matter how they figure it. Take the creativity and basic decency and soul of humanity out of the equation and dystopian is all you’re left with.
