Congratulations on expanding your reach, however I really do hope this does not reduce your written work as I have a great dislike for podcasts, videos and any other form of communication that increases the amount of time required to communicate effectively.
Super exciting! I think the podcast is a great idea, because you have so much to share with people. You can fly solo, but you can also interview people who interest you. You could highlight some of your incredible written posts, share visual resources, and much more. Kudos, my friend! And I would love to see your face one of these days : )

I know what you mean. Some podcasts are way too long and can make it hard to have time to keep up with them.
my writing is always Priority #1 (and is my strongest form of communication)
I'm thinking the pod will be a once-a-week thing, toward the end of the week so that all the issues and news items can be discussed
